Brrrr! You're stranded in the Arctic, and it's time to put your engineering skills to the test!
Campers will become Arctic explorers as they tackle a series of icy survival challenges! Their biggest mission? Design and build a miniature Arctic Rescue Vehicle capable of transporting supplies across a snowy landscape! They'll experiment with wheels, sleds, different materials, and clever engineering solutions to see what works best.
We'll also test different materials to discover what keeps us warm, build miniature survival shelters, and explore the science behind surviving extreme winter conditions!
At the end of the day, campers will take home their very own Arctic Rescue Vehicle!
Throughout the day, we'll also play games, enjoy free time exploring our awesome Stemily space and sensory tables, and head up to our loft for a movie and a fun snack provided by us!
Camp Details:
Ages: 5–9 years
Date: January 18th
Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
What to Bring: A packed lunch, snack, and water bottle.
