Photo & Media Release
At Stemily Studios, we love sharing the creativity and excitement happening in our space! By registering your child for any program or event, you are giving permission for photos or videos to be taken during participation. These may include your child, their creations, or action shots from activities.
These images may be used for promotional purposes, such as social media, our website, and other marketing materials.
If you prefer that your child not be included in photos or videos, please provide a signed and dated written note prior to the start of the program or event so we can make note of your preference.

Behavior Policy
At Stemily Studios, our goal is to create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where all participants can explore, create, and learn.
Participants are expected to:
Listen to and follow instructions from staff
Treat others with kindness and respect
Share materials and space appropriately
Use safe and appropriate language
Use tools, materials, and equipment as instructed
We strive to support all children and will make reasonable accommodations when possible. However, when behavior disrupts the experience or safety of others, the following steps will be taken:
Behavior Support Process
A staff member will speak privately with the child to discuss the behavior and explain expectations moving forward.
If the behavior continues, a second private conversation will occur, and the child will sit out of the activity for 5 minutes.
If the behavior still continues, the child will sit out for an additional 10 minutes. The behavior will be documented and discussed with the parent/guardian at pick-up.
If the same behavior occurs at a future program, it will be documented as a strike.
Three-Strike Policy
Stemily Studios follows a three-strike policy:
After three documented strikes, the participant will not be permitted to attend Stemily Studios programs for one year.
We reserve the right to move through these steps more quickly if the situation warrants.
Zero-Tolerance Behavior
For the safety of all participants, Stemily Studios has a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive behavior toward staff, other participants, or materials.
If aggressive behavior occurs:
A parent/guardian will be contacted immediately and required to pick up the child
The incident will count as an immediate strike
Refund Policy for Behavior
No refunds will be issued if a child is removed from a program due to behavioral concerns, including aggressive behavior.
Damage to Property
Participants are expected to use all materials and equipment appropriately. If a child damages materials, tools, or equipment—whether intentionally or due to not following instructions after being redirected—the parent/guardian will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
Participants may not attend future programs until any outstanding balance related to damages has been resolved.

Bathroom Policy
For all drop-off programs, participants must be fully restroom independent.
This includes the ability to:
Use the restroom without staff assistance
Properly clean themselves afterward
Flush the toilet when finished
Wash and dry their hands appropriately
Maintain reasonable cleanliness in the restroom area
Stemily Studios staff are not able to assist children with toileting, changing clothes, or cleaning up bathroom-related accidents.
If a participant has a bathroom accident, including urinating or defecating in their clothing, a parent/guardian will be contacted immediately and required to pick up their child.
If a participant repeatedly misuses the restroom, creates unsanitary conditions, or intentionally damages the restroom area, parents/guardians may be contacted and behavioral consequences may apply under our Behavior Policy.
Please send children in clothing they can manage independently.

Sick Child & First Aid Policy
At Stemily Studios, the safety and well-being of our participants is very important to us.
Basic First Aid
Stemily Studios staff may provide basic first aid for minor injuries such as small cuts, bumps, bruises, or scrapes. Basic first aid supplies may include items such as bandages and ice packs.
If a participant experiences an injury or medical concern beyond basic first aid, a parent/guardian will be contacted immediately and may be required to pick up their child.
If you do not wish for your child to receive basic first aid from Stemily Studios staff, a signed and dated written notice must be provided prior to participation in any program or event.
Sick Child Policy
To help keep our participants, families, and staff healthy, Stemily Studios has a zero-tolerance policy for sick children attending programs or events.
If your child is ill, please keep them home so they can rest and recover properly while also helping prevent illness from spreading to others.
If a participant develops signs of illness during a program—including but not limited to fever, vomiting, or other symptoms that may impact the health and safety of others—a parent/guardian will be contacted and required to pick up their child immediately.
Stemily Studios reserves the right to deny participation to children who arrive visibly ill or are unable to comfortably participate in activities.
